Intensive Acting Short Courses

COMING UP NOW! 3 Days full-time Friday 19 – Sunday 21 July 2013;
This Intensive Weekend with Roberta Wallach includes an over-view of various techniques designed to stimulate the actors’ process and imagination, and also focuses on relaxation and some exercise uses and techniques; specific rehearsal applications and most especially, how to approach the development of character work. We use both monologues and scenes to demonstrate breaking down text, as it applies and provides deeper avenues into the definition of character, as well as the strengthening of an individual’s technique and instrument.
Being an actor is a lifestyle – a commitment to developing oneself as a unique Artist. We address various blocks and issues that inevitably crop up in the actor’s training and professional experience.
